The location is very remote - as long as that's what you want, then the hotel would be absolutely perfect. Beautiful hotel, wonderful pool, 3 minute walk to the beach/house reef, and an excellent dive centre on site. It was very quiet when we went (early April) with only about 50 other guests. The staff were excellent - both in the hotel and at the dive centre, Emperor Divers. The food - overall - was good but see below! We would visit again - now we know what to expect (see below).

My stay at Blue Vision Diving Hotel was such a great experience!
The room was clean and comfortable but the owner, Mohammed, really went above and beyond.
He helped me book a trip to Sataya Reef or Dolphin House so I could swim with dolphins in the middle of the Red Sea. This was one of the coolest experiences ever!
We also went diving at a nearby beach and saw stingrays, a sea turtle and tons of fish and coral.
Mohammed helped arrange a massage and baked me a cake for my birthday! He even called to confirm my ride was going to pick me up so I wouldn't miss my flight from Hurghada (an airport that is three hours away).
Thank you Mohammed and Blue Vision Diving Hotel for the best time in Marsa Alam! I will be back!

My wife and I had an amazing time. Clean, quiet, great food, amazing snorkelling just off the jetty. All the personal have a smile on their face and attentive to our every need. Gréât pool with a slide too.We also did 2 snorkelling outings with the on site diving Center. It was amazing to see about 30 dolphins at Sha’ab Samadai, Sanctuary. One of the dolphins did a serie of jumps and saw a baby feeding on mummy while under water. Great 4G cellular phone signal on the beach and jetty

my ultimate happiness.
my ultimate happiness. I can stay there forever. all the quietness on earth is there. it is a very calm city for those who are looking for that. people are so friendly and respectful. it is the ideal place to connect with nature. Abudabbab beach is the best place there to swim, relax, and snorkeling. Porto Ghalib also is a very good place to eat clean and good food with almost daily entertainment shows and performances.

Masa Alam is a hot, dry and dusty town on the edge of the red sea. There is nothing there for tourists. I'm sure there is a restaurant somewhere. I stayed at my hotel and ordered food to be delivered. The only reason i was there was because thats where the scuba dive boat leaves from. Since then i found out the dive boat operator will pick you up pretty much anywhere, even Hurgada. See if you can find a place in Hurgada and have the boat operator pick you up there, or take a private taxi to Masa Alam.

While far away from Hurghada, the main airport, about 4.5 hours drive, the coast around Marsa Alam is clearly wilder here with with much more sea life than further north, so definitely worth it for a more 'water safari' experience.
For transfers, I recommend 123 Taxi & Tours Hurghada, a top taxi company with great prices, where you can arrange everything by WhatsApp before you travel https://www.123taxihrg.com/

Greatest place in Egypt for snorkeling/diving in my opinion.
Greatest place in Egypt for snorkeling/diving in my opinion. Very quiet city, and most resorts are actually away from the city so don't expect anything outside of your resort (check your distance). Most resorts provide what you'd need anyway. Perfect for people looking to relax or looking for boat trips. Tough to get to but worth the ride.

Staff are very polite and hard working .
Special thanks to Taha beach bar , Yassin recreation , Ahmed the poor guy who is standing at reception without air-conditioning or even a fan .
The hotel management are doing their best due to COVID-19 pandemic . Food& beverage manager attend during the three meals but the allocation of the food and beverage I think not more than 70 pounds P/P/P/N. SO THE Resources are less than the requests .
The terrace is amazing, nice sunsets there. Its located close to the Marsa Alam city center. The rooms are super comfortable and are big. The toilets are clean and also big. They offer laundry. It was really convenient for me for a good price. The breakfast was nice and they offer you drinks upon arrival and in your stay. Omar is super helpful with everything you need. Just the right place to escape from the resorts of the area.
I love everything
All staff are so welcoming and I had a very personalised tailored service as I imagine.
Hotel modern facilities and professional staff made it possible to have amazing stay.
Thanks for every single one in the hotel starting by receptionists and bellman, chiefs in all restaurants and bars, waiters, life guards, animation team, room service and finally Aqua park amazing staff.
Literally everything it was the best resort/hotel ever , the suite is amazing and I got it as a free upgrade instead of deluxe room , I never met a friendly stuff like Gemma stuff they are unbelievable specially scamario in restaurant and Mr reda the head chef , everyone is doing there best to make you happy I don't know what to say to be honest Ii was like you're in the paradise
Rarely have I found such a good hotel in this region. I can highly recommend it for couples and divers,
Outstanding house reef for snorkelling and diving with the excellent Emperor divers or Werner Lau next door;
The food was excellent (catered to our vegetarian requests) The staff were excellent and friendly. Ahmed and his Team..THANK YOU. We look forward to returning.
This was my favorite place in Egypt. Fadi and Saleh will shower you with kindness. I came as a guest and left as family. I can’t even begin to count the magical moments I had here. The facilities are simple with just two restaurants in the area, but it’s the love of the staff is what makes the place. I’d come back for sure just to dance to great music under the full moon.
Nice, comfortable and cheap guesthouse but the best thing by far was the staff who went above and beyond. There was a statewide blackout for 24 hours during our stay and the owner came down from Cairo to make sure everyone was comfortable, including bringing water and cold drinks from hotels generators and taking us all out for dinner. Incredible hospitality!
Staff were great, always proactive and addressed everything that we wanted. They constantly checked with us if things were fine.
The hotel and rooms were clean and our room was spacious with a beautiful sea view.
Special thanks to Mr. Mohammad Abbas and Mr. Mohamed Salah from hotel reception and management and also Mr. Hassan the restaurant manager.
Used this lovely hotel as a base to explore the Red Sea coast and Luxor. Rooms are spacious and clean. The pool is big and well maintained. Staff is very helpful and always smiling. Mohammed will help you with everything like tours and a transfer to the airport for a fair price. The centre of Marsa Alam is a 20 minute walk. Taxi easy to arrange.
The availability of accessible room ( handicapped room) is amazing and make it so easy for us.
The rooms are very specious , very clean and the distribution between the dressing & bathroom is amazing.
All the staff are incredible, very attentive , very helpful.
I truly recommend the hotel & will come back again for sure.
The hotel is amazing, and over my expectations, the staff are so friendly and supportive, especially the PIC Mina he was so helpful, and the food is so delicious, the beach is so relaxing, no need to go outside the resort because you have everything that you need to enjoy your stay.
